Review Croatian MIG-21 - Balkan Models
La firma Balkan Models nos ofrece en esta ocasión, una completísima plancha de calcomanías que nos permite realizar varios MiG-21 de la Fuerza Aérea Croata.
Impresas con una excelente calidad y muy buen registro, sobre un soporte muy fino, el set nos permite realizar 6 modelos distintos, que incluyen tres esquemas de camuflage diferentes:
1-MiG-21bis Nro.103, del 1er.Escuadrón de la nueva Fuerza Aérea Croata. Con este avión, perteneciente a la Fuerza Aérea Yugoslava, el Capitán Ivan Selak se pasó a las fuerzas croatas, volando desde Uzice hasta Zagreb el 15 de Mayo de 1992. El avión tiene un acabado general en color gris claro, con las insignias yugoslavas sobrepintadas en un tono de gris más oscuro. Luego se añadió un casco emplumado y la leyenda "Vengador de Vukovar" por delante de la cabina.
2-MiG-21bis Nro.102. Otro avión proveniente de la Fuerza Aérea Yugoslava, llevado a Split, Croacia, por el Capitán Ivica Ivandic el 15 de Mayo de 1992.En 1994 fue repintado con colores verde y marrón claro, y bautizado "Vengador de Dubrovnik".
3-MiG-21bis Nro.119. Este avión pertenecía a un grupo de MiGs comprados a Ucrania, y fue derribado el 2 de mayo de 1995 por la artillería antiaérea serbia, sobre Bosanska Gradiska.Camuflaje en verde y marrón claro.
4-MiG-21bis Nro.123. Similar al anterior.
5-MiG-21bis Nro.115. Otro de los aviones adquiridos a Ucrania y modernizado en Rumania entre el 2002 y el 2003, recibiendo un nuevo esquema de camuflaje en colores verde oscuro, gris, kaki y celeste.
6-MiG-21bis Nro. 120.Similar al anterior
Los kits recomendados por Balkan Models para realizar estos aviones, son los de Zvezda y Fujimi.
Todos los colores están identificados con referencias en RAL, FS, Revell, Humbrol,Model Master,Tamiya, Gunze Sangyo y Vallejo, algo verdaderamente muy útil para encontrar los colores adecuados.

This time Balkan Models offers a complete decal sheet that allows us to make several MiG-21 of the Croatian Air Force.
An excellent quality print and a very good registry on a thin support, the set allows us to make six different models, including three different camouflage schemes:
1-MiG-21bis. Nro.103 of the 1st. Sqn of the new Croatian Air Force. With this aircraft, belonged to the Yugoslav Air Force, Captain Ivan Selak defected and went over to the Croatian forces, flying from Uzice to Zagreb on May 15, 1992. The kits from Zvezda and Fujimi are recommended by Balkan Models for these aircraft.
All colors are identified in RAL, FS, Revell, Humbrol, Model Master, Tamiya, Gunze Sangyo and Vallejo references, which is really very helpful to find the right colors.
