PRIMER CONCURSO VIRTUAL DE MODELISMO ESTATICO
"IPMS ARGENTINA - MAR DEL PLATA"
BASES
El Concurso se regirá, en lo pertinente, por el Reglamento General del IPMS Argentina - Mar del Plata. Es abierto a todos los modelistas, a excepción de los socios del IPMS Mar del Plata, y cada participante podrá enviar hasta tres modelos y hasta cinco fotos por cada trabajo. No podrán concursar trabajos que ya lo hayan hecho en alguna de las ediciones de nuestra Exposición y Concurso anual, sin perjuicio que los modelos que aquí participen sí podrán hacerlo posteriormente en nuestro habitual Concurso. Dada la característica virtual del evento se abre la Categoría "Foto Montaje".
El concurso es sin costo de inscripción.

Recepción de fotografías de los modelos: Del 1 al 28 de Marzo de 2021.
Juzgamiento de los modelos: Del 1 al 18 de Abril de 2021
Publicación de los modelos premiados: 25 de Abril de 2021
Inscripción y envío de las fotografías
Las imágenes se recepcionarán únicamente en las fechas indicadas y a través del e-mail concursovirtual@ipms-mardelplata.com.ar, como archivos adjuntos. Deberá enviarse un e-mail con el asunto "Concurso virtual" por cada modelo presentado, en el cual constará la siguiente información.

Se habilitarán las categorías contempladas en el Reglamento General de Concurso del IPMS Argentina - Mar del Plata. Al completar el e-mail de inscripción el concursante deberá especificar la categoría del modelo presentado de acuerdo al siguiente listado.

Sugerimos leer detenidamente el Reglamento General de Concurso del IPMS Argentina - Mar del Plata para poder determinar la categoría del modelo. Les recordamos que la categoría asignada por el concursante queda sujeta al criterio de los jueces.
Categoría "Foto montaje"
Dadas las características especiales del concurso virtual, se habilita la categoría "Foto montaje". El concursante presentará un montaje fotográfico de su autoría con el modelo y temática que sea de su elección. Asimismo deberá especificar el modelo utilizado y describir la temática desarrollada en su presentación. Se podrán presentar hasta un máximo de tres trabajos por participante en esta categoría.
De las imágenes
Las imágenes deberán enviarse como archivos adjuntos al e-mail indicado precedentemente, poseer en lo posible una relación de aspecto 4:3 (800x600, 1024x768, etc.) y encontrarse en formato .jpg. Los modelos deberán ser fotografiados sobre un fondo de color plano, y en los ángulos que el concursante considere apropiados para su mejor juzgamiento.
Premios a otorgar
A – Primero, Segundo y Tercero en cada categoría y/o sub-categorías abiertas
B – Mejor Avión – Mejor Vehículo Civil – Mejor Vehículo Militar – Mejor Buque – Mejor Figura – Mejor Diorama
C – Mejor Modelo del Concurso
Cada premio consistirá en un diploma en formato .pdf en el cual constará el nombre del participante, modelo premiado y categoría en la que concursó.

RULES
The Contest will be ruled, as pertinent, by the IPMS Argentina - Mar del Plata Contest General Rules. It's open to all modelers, with the exception of IPMS Mar del Plata partners, and each participant may send up to three models and up to five photos for each model. Models that have already been done in any of the editions of our annual Show and Contest may not compete, without prejudice to the fact that the models that participate here may later do so in our usual annual Contest. Due to the virtual characteristic of the event, the Category "Photo Montage" is opened.
There's no admission fee.
Dates
Reception of the photographies of the models: From March 1 to 28, 2021.
Model judgment: From April 1 to 18, 2021
Publication of awarded models: April 25, 2021
Registration and submission of the photographies
The images will be only received in the indicated dates and through the e-mail concursovirtual@ipms-mardelplata.com.ar as attachment files. An e-mail with the subject "Concurso virtual" must be sent for each model presented, which will contain the following information.

We suggest that you carefully read the IPMS Argentina - Mar del Plata Contest General Rules in order to determine the category of the model. We remind you that the category assigned by the contestant is subject to the criteria of the judges.
Category "Photo montage"
Due to the special characteristics of the virtual contest, the "Photo montage" category is enabled. You will present a photographic montage of your authorship with the model and theme of your choice. You must also specify the model used and describe the theme developed in your presentation. Up to a maximum of three photographic montages per participant may be submitted in this category.
Images
The images must be sent as attachments to the e-mail indicated above, have as far as possible an 4:3 aspect ratio (800x600, 1024x768, etc.) and be in .jpg format. The models must be photographed on a flat colored background, and at the angles that the participant considers appropriate for a better judgment.
Awards
A - First, Second and Third in each category and / or open sub-categories
B - Best Airplane - Best Civil Vehicle - Best Military Vehicle - Best Ship - Best Figure - Best Diorama
C - Best Model of the Contest
Each award will consist of a diploma in .pdf format which will contain the name of the participant, the winning model and the category in which you entered.
